Chief Assist. Prof. Plamena Zlatkova PhD

  In 2002 she graduated from the College of Library Studies in Library Studies and Bibliography. Her BA is from Veliko Tarnovo University (named after St. St. Brothers Cyril and Methodius) in Library and Information Activities in 2004. In 2005 she graduated from the same university in State Management (MA). In 2006 she graduated from The University of Library Studies and Information Technologies in her second MA in Library Management. In 2009 she began her scientific research as a PhD candidate and in 2011 she successfully defended her PhD thesis and became a PhD in Book Studies, Library Studies and Bibliography. Between 2002-2007, Plamena Zlatkova worked as a librarian in the specialized reading room 1 “Marin Drinov” of the Manuscript - Documental and Literary Heritage Division of the National Library St. Brothers Cyril and Methodius. She was appointed Assistant Professor with the University of Library Studies and Information Technologies in 2007 and in 2009 she became a Senior Assistant Professor. Since 2011, she has been a Chief Assistant Professor there. She delivers seminar classes in Cataloguing and Classification of Documents, Library Computer Technologies, Reference and Information Services, etc.

  Plamena Zlatkova is a member of the Board of the Bulgarian Library and Information Association.
